Sunday session at the Beerfarm :-

After fixing a number of loose door handles at one of the Airbnb properties we manage, my husband and I decided to meander down to the Beerfarm to have a bite to eat and enjoy one of their brews!

When we arrived the weather was cool and rain clouds were rolling in fast. The large shutter doors were closed and any visitors had migrated indoors to listen to the live music.

I am a lover of stout, and Beerfarm's milk stout did not disappoint. It was a dark, slightly sweet full-bodied ale, leaving a chocolate and coffee impression! Yum!

As we couldn't get a table inside, we nestled into a couch but it wasn't going to be the best place to have a bite to eat. So we headed outside and well, what a difference an hour makes. The sun had made an appearance and we were lucky to snag a table!

The huge barn doors rolled up and the place transformed into one large venue with live music flowing through. The patio cover they've recently installed is huge and will be great for the hot summer months!

The food was good too, as one would expect, because well, it's a farm right! And fresh produce is what they're all about. I had an amazing king prawn salad and Paul had their Angus burger. Both were fab!

The atmosphere was friendly, relaxed, and it ended up being a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Heartily recommend visitors add the Beerfarm to their itinerary. There are even some swings there for the kiddies and a few people had bought their pooches down to socialise too!
